Application for Renewal of an Exemption
Aeromexpress respectfully requests renewal of the exemption authority previously renewed by Notice of Action Taken in Docket OST-95-219, dated March 4,1997, which authority currently is set to expire March 4, 1998. Aeromexpress seeks a renewal for one year. By this application, Aeromexpress intends to invoke the automatic extension provisions of 5 U.S.C. § 558(c) and Part 377 of the Department's Special Regulations.

Aeromexpress currently is not providing scheduled all-cargo service in the Mexico City-Atlanta market, it has done so in the past and anticipates resuming service when traffic warrants. At that time, shippers would benefit from the convenience of non-stop all-cargo service provided by Aeromexpress. Consequently, it seeks to renew the authority for another year.

This authority was renewed most recently by Notice of Action Taken dated July 20, 2000 and it currently is set to expire July 20, 2001 Although Aeromexpress currently is not providing scheduled all-cargo service in the Mexico City-Atlanta market, it has done so in the past and anticipates resuming service when traffic warrants. At that time, shippers would benefit from the convenience of non-stop all-cargo service provided by Aeromexpress. Consequently, it seeks to renew the authority for another year.
