By this application, Aeromexico seeks renewal of its exemption authority to provide service between Monterrey, Mexico, and New York, New York, granted by Notice of Action Taken, dated November 29, 2000, and last renewed by Notice of Action Taken, dated December 11, 2001. Aeromexico currently is serving the market with five weekly nonstop round trips, operated with MD-80 Series aircraft. In addition, Aeromexico displays the two-letter designator code of Delta Air Lines, Inc., on these flights, affording Delta an opportunity to offer competitive service in the market. Aeromexico desires to renew the authority so it may continue offering this service which has been well received by the public.

Although Aeromexico has operated nonstop service in the recent past, it currently is serving the market via connections in Mexico City. However, it anticipates resuming nonstop service when warranted by traffic conditions.

Although Aeromexico has operated nonstop service in the recent past, it currently is serving the market via connections in Mexico City. However, it anticipates resuming nonstop service when warranted by traffic conditions. Consequently, it desires to renew the authority for an additional year.

The exemption is to expire on August 8,2007. Please be advised that Aeromexico does not intend to seek renewal of this authority
