Although United and Mexicana are not presently code sharing on the, route, they plan to implement code-share service no later than June 2000. Renewal of United's statement of authorization, therefore, will facilitate a wider array of on-line service for consumers and contribute to the efficiency of United's Chicago-Toronto flights.
