Mexicana is today supplementing its application to provide evidence of the Mexican Government's intention to designate Mexicana for scheduled combination service in the Morelia-Portland market. Attached to this supplement is a letter from the Mexican DGAC to the Ministry of Foreign Relations confirming that Mexicana is to be designated for the Morelia-Portland route.

Application for Renewal of Exemption
Hereby requests renewal of the exemption authority granted to it by the Department of Transportation in the above-captioned docket to perform scheduled foreign air transportation of persons, property and mail between certain points in Mexico and the United States. Mexicana requests renewal of this exemption for a one-year period on its existing terms and conditions. Mexicana relies upon the provisions of the Administrative Procedures Act and Part 377 of the Department's procedural regulations to continue its existing authorization in force beyond the August 10, 2003, expiration date pending a final decision on this renewal request.
Mexicana holds authority in Docket OST-2001-10355 to operate scheduled services in the following markets: Morelia-San Francisco, Cancun-San Francisco, Oaxaca-Los Angeles, Morelia-Oakland and Leon-Oakland.
