Aeromaan S.A. de C.V., operates as an air taxi service, both domestically as well as internationally. Its primary function is the transportation of cash currency from Mexico to the United States. It is estimated that flights of this nature will take place 260 times annually and follow a route from San Luis, to Potosi, arriving in Laredo, TX. Returning flights from the U.S. to Mexico are strictly non-revenue flights. Aeromaan holds approval from DGAC, their latest AOC was renewed January 14,2008, and expires December 16, 2008, and their authority includes both passenger and cargo.

Aeromaan, S.A. de C.V., was incorporated in June 2002, was granted initial approval to operate International on February 2003. Their base of operations is in San Luis Potosi, Mexico; their primary business is to transport money from Mexican banks to the U.S.

Notice of Action Taken

Exemption under 49 USC §40109 to permit the applicant to conduct passenger and/or cargo charter operations between Mexico and the United States, using small equipment.

We have decided, on our own initiative and in the interest of administrative efficiency, to grant the applicant’s exemption authority for a two-year term.

The applicant states that it is wholly owned by citizens of Mexico. The applicant further states that its Director and all of its key management personnel are citizens of Mexico.
