Martinair Holland N.V. ("Martinair') hereby applies for renewal of a Statement of Authorization to conduct operations under a long-term wet lease to Transportes A6reos Mercantiles Panamericanos, S.A. ("Tampa"). Martinair seeks authority to wet lease an MD1 1 and/or B747 freighter aircraft to Tampa for conduct of certain all-cargo charter services in the U.S. - Colombia and U.S. - Venezuela markets. Martinair requests that this authority be made effective April 1, 2001 through October 1, 2002. Martinair presently holds a statement of authorization from the Department for wet lease operations on behalf of Tampa. That authority is due to expire on April 1, 2001.
