Approval of Carriage of Blind Sector Traffic
On May 7, 1997 Britannia commenced operation of a series of bi-weekly charter flights in behalf of a British charterer from London/Manchester, England to Cancun, Mexico with a stop in Sanford, Florida for refueling and crew change only. The charterer has now requested Britannia to transport, on the same aircraft, part-charters of the charterer's U.K.-originating passengers destined to and returning from Sanford. The Sanford passengers are to be commingled with passengers in charter groups moving directly to the United Kingdom and from Cancun beginning with Britannia's June 8, 1997 flight.
The 10 round-trip commingled flights are scheduled to operate June 18; July 2, 6, 30; August 13, 27; September 10, 24; October 8, 22, 1997. No fewer than 20 and no more than 130 seats would be used on any flight for the transportation of passengers destined to and from Sanford. No passengers destined to or from Cancun would disembark or embark at Sanford on any of these flights. All flights would be operated with Boeing 767-200 274/290 seat equipment.
