Answer of American
Airlines in Opposition
Moreover, in the Los Angeles-Mexico City market, in which Mexicana proposes codeshare services with a third-country carrier, Mexicana and Aeromexico already operate their own flights, as well as codeshare services with their respective U.S. carrier partners, United and Delta. Under Mexico's restrictive policy, no additional designations are available. American and other U.S. carriers have long expressed interest in entering the Los Angeles-Mexico City market, but are precluded from doing so.
