Lloyd Aereo Boliviano FAA-2007-28330 - Forward Looking Terrain Function Exemption May 23, 2007 By this means and in order to maintain our actual OpSpecs permissions and future operations to the United States operated with our actual equipment, we kindly request to apply for an exemption to FAA EGPWS requirement applied through Section 129.11(a)(3) of Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations (14 CFR §129.11(a)(3) corresponding to ICAO Annex 6 requirements for EGPWS (GPWS with forward looking terrain function). The Lloyd Aereo Boliviano represents the bolivian national airline operating safely to the United States since many years. At this time some internal troubles difficult our operations to the USA and other destinations, therefore we are looking and working to fix these problems as soon as possible to reinitiate our operations. A lot of Bolivian people, US-Citizens and Citizens from other countries uses the LAB services from/to USA. These people are beneficiated by our services having the possibility to choice LAB schedule and different destinations in Bolivia and South America. Additionally LAB offers the possibility to transport small package cargo in the B727-200 Fleet, thus comes in benefit of producers in Bolivia, also in benefit for the business from USA to Bolivia, transporting different means of wares bought in the United States for sale in Bolivia and other South America countries.
