Hawaiian Airlines, Inc.

FAA-03-16774

February 5, 2004

Re: Decision to Close Docket

Administration (FAA) on behalf of Hawaiian Airlines, Inc., for an exemption from subparts Q, R, and S of part 121 of Title 14, Code of Federal Regulations (14 CFR). This exemption, if granted, would allow Hawaiian Airlines to conduct its flight operations using flight time limitations and rest requirements that differ from those in subparts Q, R, and S of part 121. Your petition has been added to the public docket
(No. FAA–2003–16744).

The FAA notes that in a letter dated January 16, 2004, Mr. Jonathan B. Hill, Counsel for Hawaiian Airlines, states that your organization “has no authority to speak on behalf of Hawaiian Airlines.” Mr. Hill also states that Hawaiian Airlines has not requested an exemption from subparts Q, R, and S of part 121. Accordingly, the FAA will take no further action on Docket No. FAA–2003–16744.
