Federal Express Corporation

FAA-04-19913 - Petition for Temporary Exemption

January 5, 2005

Supplement to Petition | Word

In this document FedEx discusses the additional measures instituted to ensure safety is not compromised and explains the compelling public interest need for the requested exemption. In addition, based on a detailed program review by FedEx, its suppliers, and FedEx's operators, FedEx has been able to substantially reduce, but not eliminate, the number of aircraft for which an exemption is required and shorten the time for which the exemption is required. The revised program schedule is reflected in the attached data.
