Thai now seeks to renew its authority to place its "TG" code on the following United-operated services: (i) between London and New York; and (ii) between London and Chicago. This exemption affords Thai routing flexibility in offering Thailand-New York and Thailand-Chicago services. Specifically, it enables Thai to hold out online service on a blind-sector basis via London; Thai operated aircraft originating in or destined for Thailand are able to connect in London with United-operated aircraft originating in or destined for Chicago or New York.

Hereby applies for renewal of exemptions from the requirements of 49 U.S.C. § 41301 to the extent necessary to enable it (1) to place its code on flights operated by United Air Lines, Inc. between points in Thailand, on the one hand, and New York and Chicago, on the other hand, via London, with the London-New York/Chicago segments limited to blind-sector traffic; and (2) to place its designator code on Unitedoperated services between Thailand, on the one hand, and San Francisco and Chicago, on the other hand, via Tokyo.
